We need your contributions by August 19. We can't accept anything after that. If we don't have something from you by August 19, you'll get a PayPal invoice for $30.00 plus a $25.00 late fee.
There are 2 ways to satisfy your obligation: 1) send product, or 2) send $30.00 through PayPal.
-----1) CONTRIBUTING PRODUCT: Put your business name on any envelopes or packages. It can contain any number of items, as long as it has a total retail value of $30.00. So, you could send in one item that has a value of $30.00 or thirty items that have a value of $1.00 each. Send only actual products, no coupons or purely promotional items (stickers, pens, etc.). Load in starts at 9:00am. Please do not arrive before then. There is an alley where you can park while loading in. The entrance to the alley is on Brazos between 4th and 5th Street.
You can load in using the front entrance doors. There is a handicap ramp so you can easily use a dolly or cart.
We don't have staff or equipment to help you load in so you should bring your own dollies, carts, etc.
Like most other shows, we ask that you unload and move your car before setting up your booth. Play nice and everyone can have a smooth load in.BACK TO MENU
Load out starts at 6:00pm. Anyone who starts breaking down or loading out before 6:00pm will not be allowed into future Summer Show ATX events.
As before, you can use whatever doors are available and parking will be much the same as it was in the morning. We ask that you have all of your items ready to go before you pull your car up. The venue must be empty by 8:00pm.BACK TO MENU
Unfortunately, there is no official free parking. There is paid parking on the street or in a garage. You may also want to use one of those parking apps/sites to secure the cheapest parking if this kind of thing stresses you out. Brazos Hall was kind enough to provide us with a parking map.
INCLUDED IN YOUR BOOTH FEE
-----What is included? Electricity. But, you need to bring your own extension cords, multi-outlets, surge protectors, etc. This venue gets a lot of natural and overhead light but we encourage you to bring additional lighting if you'd like to showcase your work.
-----What isn't included? Tables, chairs, walls, or WiFi.
-----Some notes: Bring table coverings so your back stock and other non-display items are hidden. Bring your own change, receipts, credit card processing equipment, etc.BACK TO MENU
YOU WILL NEED
For those of you who haven't done many shows, here is a list of other things you probably want to bring. YMMV.
-----Tables and chairs
-----Lots of cash change and a money holder (something that locks or carried on your person is always a good idea!)
-----Calculator and receipt book
-----Credit card processor - Square and PayPal Here are both great options
-----Promotional items (business cards, flyers, etc.)
-----Sign/banner with your business name
-----Extension cord, power strip and anything else you need to light/power your booth
-----WiFi card or Hotspot setup
-----Shopping bags (within compliance with Austin's bag ban) and trash can/bag for your booth
-----Tools/zip ties/duct tape, etc.
